Summer is approaching and Hurricane season is almost upon us. Make sure you have all your information up to date.

It's great that you're preparing for hurricane season! Here are some steps to ensure you have everything set up in your State Farm app:

• Update Personal Information: Make sure your contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, are current. This ensures you receive timely updates.

• Turn on Text Communication: In the app, navigate to your account settings and ensure that text notifications are enabled. This will allow you to receive alerts and important messages directly to your phone.

• Review Your Policy: Check your coverage details to ensure you have the necessary protection for hurricane-related damages. This may include wind and flood coverage.

• Emergency Contacts: Update or add emergency contacts in the app for quick access.

• Claim Process: Familiarize yourself with the claims process in case you need to file one after a storm. Look for guidance on how to document damages and submit a claim.

• Emergency Kit: While not directly related to the app, make sure you have an emergency kit ready, including essentials like food, water, medications, and important documents.

• Stay Informed: Use the app to stay updated on weather alerts and safety tips during hurricane season.
